I wanted to do something different this week and was so impressed with Dina's video () on the business card holder that I decided to go with that as my base project. I made the strip on the front just by coloring pencil drawn shapes and then filling them in with copic markers. The back panel has a background made using dauber paints and water, and then the trees die cut in black was adhered on to that. Instead of filling this with business cards it was a perfect fit for these mini ink bottle samples that I buy from gouletpens.com. I was able to fit 5 bottles into the box. This will be a gift for a friend who loves fountain pens like I do! P.S. It can still double as a business card holder after they remove the inks!
I hope you'll join us on this weeks inspiration challenge....we're getting inspired by really cool business card designs! What fun!
Hugs,
Audrie

Awesome job Audrie... You nailed your inspiration.... Love that it can double as an ink holder or card holder.... I used to make business cards for friends and family.. These would have been great to go with them.

Beautiful and vibrant interpretation of your inspired business card. Your background and tree die cut is simply perfect for your geometric colors. I bet that was fun to make!
